Dr. Gandhi completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Toronto Medical School. He subsequently finished his Family Medicine residency training at the University of Toronto based at the Trillium Mississauga Hospital. Prior to his medical studies, he completed an Honours Specialization in Medical Sciences at the Western University where he was highly involved in medical research, student advocacy and community service. During his residency training, he was nominated for the award in Clinical Excellence and was actively engaged in teaching medical students and resident doctors.
Dr. Gandhi’s comprehensive training allows him to provide care to patients at all stages of their life, from newborns to elderly patients. He intends to have a strong focus on primary preventative care, urgent care, and chronic disease management. He also has a special interest in palliative care medicine. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family. He is practising at the Vaughan and Woodbridge sites and is looking forward to contributing to the community by providing comprehensive primary care and urgent medical care to all patients. He speaks English, Hindi and Gujarati and is accepting new patients in his family practice starting July 2020.
